The Institute of Finance, Economics and Management is one of the youngest and most dynamic institutes of Togliatti State University. It was established in 2006 on the basis of Department of Economics, Management and Law.

The Institute of Finance, Economics and Management offers training in Economics, Finance, and Management, including Quality Management, HRM, Accounting, Financial Analysis and Audit. It provides students with solid finance and economics skills throughout the Institute’s graduate and undergraduate programs. Faculty in each department remain committed to their specialized field, but also work across academic boundaries, and industries, to ensure students receive the most integrated curriculum possible. This also serves to infuse their rigorous academic research with a true sense of today’s management complexities.

The Institute of Finance, Economics and Management is very popular with enrollees, as since Russia has embraced free-market economy, there has been a sharp uptick in demand for economists and economic analysts. Over 1300 students are studying at the Institute now, and all mainstream areas of economics are strongly represented in research and teaching.

More than 70 faculty members facilitate the academic process. Scientific and research activities are of major importance. The students participate in local, regional and country’s scientific conferences and seminars.
Sports and other extra-curricular activities are very popular with our students. There are aerobics, fitness, dance and tourist clubs. Most active students are awarded with free trips to different parts of Russia and are delegated to All-Russian students camp “Leader of 21st Century”, which takes place in Rostov-on-Don.

Since 2007 the institute has been successfully developing and implementing a joint minor course International Business and Finance in cooperation with INHOLLAND University, the Netherlands. The course is held in English both in Togliatti and Rotterdam and involves academic mobility.

International Events

•  International Summer School “Doing Business in Russia” The school is focused on current economic situation in Russia and is aimed at international students interested in Business Studies. The school program involves visiting local enterprises, companies, banks and diverse cultural activities.
